The ME-1A is being designed in anticipation of and with the flexibility to transition from turbine propulsion to hydrogen- electric or electric propulsion as those systems mature, the regulatory framework to certify them is adopted and the infrastructure to support them is in place. The ME-1A will be capable of supporting the propulsion system that best fit operators' individual mission needs and sustainability goals.
